Due to a problem with gravity, I need a new set of main blades for my Observer. I've been running SAB 720 flat bottoms. However all the pics I have seen indicates everyone else uses sym blades. Which is best? It seems like the flat bottoms would provide more lift for the already heavy beast. I welcome all input.

Thanks in advance,

Brant

Flat bottoms and semi-syms will provice more lift at less pitch, than syms will. Use syms if you are taking pictures from an inverted hover...

Brent,

I agree with Al, if I had a dedicated camera ship, I would definately run, at a minimum, semi-symetrical blades. They will give you more overall lift with a given drag. That is, unless you intend to take some inverted pictures.

The government cannot give you anything without first taking it from someone else.
