Matthew,

Looks like you are running your computer behind a firewall/router. No one will be able to join unless you open up the ports that the sim uses. I'm not sure of the port numbers, but it's a whole lot easier just to bypass the router while trying to do the fun fly online.

the 192.168.0.101 ip address is only a local address, you can't connect to anyone using that, the other ip is your internet address.

To find out your IP...

Matt,
When running a router..

go to realflight root folder.. a file name HostBroadcastPersistent.ini opens it up.. you'll see it then post that ip here..

He did post his public IP in the initial post. That IP will only work if you bypass the router or open up the ports that RealFlight uses.

I know what you mean, but just look for some common features on linksys and D-link.. opens up your service ports. else no one be able to join your G2 session or you joining someone else..

Hi Matthew, do you have another address? 192.168 addresses are for your internal network only and cannot be accessed from the outside.

How do I join? I know you go to multiplayer then join and then type in the IP address but what then? It sits there and serches but never finds anything. I am still on phone modem, does that matter?

Matthew, you dont "have" to give out your ip address here.

Just let the program submit it to the server. then as people do a search for available connections, your name and ip will come up.

if you want to keep things privite, then do not send it to the server and only people can join that have the ip. in your case it is 66.207.82.174 and you dont need to supply a port number.

I would also suggest to set your # of pilots to 4 or 6 to better keep up, even with the dsl.
