Just a heads up for you guys.....Yesterday I had a near catastrophy when the steel pin that locks the red tail Rotor drive pulley to the TR shaft sheared in half. I was in a hover at about 8-10' from the ground when it happened. After the pin sheared, the TR shaft slipped out of place in the pulley, causing the TR blades to max out in one direction. The heli was spinning very fast, and I was lucky to be able to get it back on the ground without any damage. The only explaination that I can think of is that I had overtightened the set screw that locks the pin in place, which stressed the pin, causing it to fracture. So, make sure that you do not overtighten the set screw that runs in the center of the TR shaft or you could find yourself in a very scary situation

I've been using the upgrade aluminum pulley and output shaft for a couple seasons now, for the same reason. You know how the saying goes" get me once, shame on you. Get me twice, shame on me.
