I'm flying about 6 months now and am planning on buying a 60 size heli to add to my fleet. I really like the Fury 60 expert. I know this is on the more expensive side off the 60 class heli's. Talking to my fellow club mates they say I would be mad in purchasing a fury for my second heli and reckon I should think on the lines of a less expensive models like the Raptor 60 or the sceadu 50 were parts are less expensive to buy. What are your taughts on this considering the Fury expert is one of my all time favourite models.

Thank
Niall

If your building skills are up to it and/or you have someone to help you, a Fury will be great. I don't know you but I'd say that their advise of sticking with a 50 for now is probably good They are cheaper and more forgiving.

You owe it to yourself to consider a Century Predator.

If you can afford a Fury and want a Fury get a Fury, its your money and I'm almost certain you won't be happy with anything else.

Hey Steve, whats the latest on the Predator? I haven't been hearing much about it lately.

Waldo,

Mine's doing great. I've got the SE, 60 size, with OS .61, have about three to four gallons of fuel thru it ( an estimate ) with no problems. There are some mods available to improve the 3D capabilities, minor things, but I've not heard of any real issues yet. Mine is the smoothes, truest flying, and quickest helicopter I've ever owned/flown. I've flown quicker but they weren't as true flying in foward flight.

new flyer.

there are people who will tell you to get the heli they fly....
and there are people who give you opinions and facts. but i must say i have seen the MA helis fly and they are one of the most smoothist helis out there. you are right about price though. i have seen atleast 10 crashes on the MA helis and nomatter the damage the cost was up there. i have seen the raptor 60 crash 3 times one including mine and i was so happy i didn't own a MA. the cost of my tail loss was about 120.00 us including 85.99 us blades. that is good in my book. the raptor does fly good though. i am glad to add it to my fleet.
one thing on the r60 is the tourque tube lets go so you will need to pin it. do a search on tourque tubes or t/r driveshaft to get the full scoop. once again i will agree with most people when they say it is your money and do whatever you want with it. and also what are the guys you fly with flying?? that is a plus to help you out with the setup of your new heli. any ways i would list more helis but i dont really know any good details about any other helis. i hope this will help you in making a good decision.
