Scott: OK, didn't hear much about it. But this gets back to my belief that we ought to be drilling on land, where we have tons of oil. Pump it out, build new refineries, employ some people, get gas back to less than 2 bucks a gallon and watch things change before our eyes. I applaud out efforts on alternative energy. But that's going to take a long time. Meanwhile, there is no movement on nuclear power. We should be building nukes all over the place.

I have always been for nuclear power, and I believe it is the swiss or another country on the other side that has been able to properly get rid of the waste that is created with nuclear power plants. Kind of like how they turn the byproduct of turning oil in gas to create diesel fuel.

And the oil leak in Prudhoe Bay was another BP oil well. That oil leka went unnoticed for awhile. Incase you want to read about it, here is a wikipedia link.

I remember that now. Seems like maybe the biggest problem is BP itself. I know their safety record is atrocious. Oil, nuclear, wind, solar....I say bring it all. We can't relay on just one thing. It has to be multi-faceted if we truly want to tell the rags to take a leap. If America cut off their bloodline, the towelies would be in a world of hurt. I say we starve them back into the stone age where they belong. If they have no oil money to power their terrorist activities, they will cease to be a threat to anybody but themselves.

I think that most people are too afraid to stand up and congratulate her on the accomplishments she has made. Maybe it's because she's a woman? Who knows. Bet you that she'd have a higher approval rate than our current mistake. I also bet that since she cut the budget in AK because she could do it herself that she wouldn't have that list of people on payroll that Michelle Obama has. Maybe we could come out of the "recession" just by voting Palin....

or Maybe not.

Would it be safe to assume that you don't like what's currently going on and would like a change? If so welcome to the club, but just because things are bad now we can't make the same mistake and put someone in there that can't do anything to change it for the good.

Hope and change!! = bad

Mama Grizzly!! = just as bad

I'll just hold off until we can get the right one baby...

Sounds like were cooking with gas....

I have 2 main issues with Sarah Palin:

1.) She quit her post half way through, I do not care the reason, she quit.

2.) She did not try to put a stop to what will become the largest strip mine pit in the world in Bristol Bay. She stated she loved Bristol Bay so much that she named her daughter after it. If the mine happens in Bristol Bay it will destroy the last big salmon run left in the world and one of the few untouched places left.

I could care less if she is a woman. And if she is the candidate that makes it to the election I pray that someonoe other than Obama is running. I do not think the majority of America is sold on Palin and whomever is running against her will have an easy time getting into the White House. Just my 2 cents.
I also bet that since she cut the budget in AK because she could do it herself that she wouldn't have that list of people on payroll that Michelle Obama has.
She may not have as many as Michele if she were to make it to the White house but I bet her wardrobe bill will be much larger.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

With the damage that he has done to America and his party I don't think that Obama could get renominated to run for Pres. so Palin could beat him in second.
McCain was the worst candidate the Republicans ever nominated in my lifetime so even the boost that he received from Palin couldn't help him beat the most unqualified candidate the Dems ever nominated.
I still can't believe that people are still spouting the same old lies about Palin that they've heard in the media and on TV so maybe there are still enough gullible idiots out there for Obama to be able to get votes.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

I don't think that Palin's clothing bill would be as much as Bammy's Mammy's.

The main reason for this is that Michele's azz is SOOOOO much LARGER!

You would have to pick a lot of cotton to make Michele a sun dress.

I've just got to believe somebody is waiting in the wings, preparing, gathering money and intel. There has to be. I hope it won't be Palin. Romney I'm OK with. I really hope somebody new with some serious business savvy pops up. Qualified, outsider, no skeletons, well financed and not afraid to take on both sides of the machine. This is my dream for 2012. A Neal Boortz type (Libertarian) is what I'm hoping for. My life hasn't been the same since our local AM Conservative talk radio station sold out and is now all mariachi music....24/7...

As for what Palin has done to the land of Alaska, all I will say is that she helped to destroy some of the most beautiful land and wildlife in the world.
I am still waiting for your visual proof that Palin has destroyed Alaska.

The Obama/Palosi team is far bigger idiots.

At least Palin loves her country.
