p.s. does anyone know if the tube drive is the standard one as used in a millie 2 as I have a made up one here and it would save on building time

Hi,

who's gona do the first crash test?

By the way, I ran the first tank through my YS91 Nova, rich as hell but already better than the old 91sx imho
But that fuel tank lasted less than 10mins hovering, I'll have to lean it out soon or sell something to pay the fuel bills
The new tank is strong enough (the one made for the engine mount support), and the Funtech seems quiet. Anyway, thanks to all the guys here supporting me with that baby

Andi

I saw you mentioned about your nova - I have a nova with the flybar support and the sicssor tail - tis great. I am using the 25 tooth bell with a C Spec and MP2, so smooth. Shame the engine shims are 5.5. mil!!

Hi,

I went with 26 tooth and thats 3.6mm (belt is quite tight, 3.5mm might be sweet). 5.5mm should help with the cg but the screws are a bit on the short side even with 3.6 I'll cut down longer ones. Anyway, with the 7.86 it should be a fast heli, I'm not into 3D...

I thought about trying 1:1 mixing instead of the new flybar setup. That can be done by pushing the balls on the flybar further out (8mm I think), but I don't have much time right now so I won't screw up my current setup.

Regards,

Andi

Fly bar support and sicssor tail.

I have 1 machine with and 1 without. I don't see a big diffrence! I do like the flybar support for making the flybar itself a little more rigid. If you pay attention to the stock tail linkage, it will stay tight as anything, so maybe the sicssor will be better in the long haul?

Choppersrock yes it is the same tube drive as the milli ll. Jeff I noticed the biggest differents with the new sesaw. There was no more unwanted pitch interaction from the flybar flexing. Also it helped with the flybar bending (they will still bend though Grrrrrr).

Well my local hobby shop has a shippment coming in this week maybe just maybe there will be a couple M3's in it YA BABY!!!!!!!

If so I will try and do a quick build right up with some pic's and post it here.

Hi,

interesting thing, in Germany/Switzerland nobody seems to care when it comes out. Guess all the ccpm freaks are flying NT while the others are happy with Milli2/Nova.
I won't buy one anyway, but that might be because I don't have the money
