I'm a little new to the electric heli. I have a hawk pro that I converted and it worked out and it's in a scale 500D. So I converted a MA stratus that I had to electric. I'm using a CC 110HV and an AXI 5345/14. This is going into a Graupner NH-90. It's been a very slow build. I'm not sure which lipo's to put into it, run in series or parallel. And I have no clue what any of that means. I just enjoy flying and try to take in as much info I can get in the discussions that are talked about. Thank you.

Not sure this is an answer but my razor 600 started out using 2 X 5S in series at 4500 mah. It has been modified to swing 710 mm blades but still using 2X5S but now 5000mah.
The 'S' stands for series, so a 5S is 5X4.4volts = 22 volts. Two 5S in series is 22 volts X 2 = 44 Volts.
Hope this helps a little.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

When you series the cells you add the voltage. When you parallel the cells you add the mah rating. I have not seen any parallel setups but on AP and very large heli's that may be more common.

Right now with out a scale head I'm also using 710 but when I get to that level I'm going to swing 4 825 or in that area. I'm not sure, do I need to use more volts or mah? This something I know nothing about. What is the advantage of volts to mah?

Best way to put it
volts= horsepower the more volts the more power you will get out of the motor
mah= gas tank this will determine flight time...

Your motor can take up to 44.4V which means a 10S lipo. You will probably then be running 2x 5S lipos in series giving you a 10S pack. I assume you'll want 2x 5000mAh lipos depending on how much room you have. Any bigger than that and you'll have a really heavy helicopter.
