Guys,

Did anyone know where to get a cobra fusalage for the Trex 500? I think the approach engineering fuse might fits, but that's lots of work. Thank you in advance for all your helps and suggestions.

Absolutely; the Approach Engineering fuse is fun. Never had so much exitement when building a scale fuselage. I'm not yet there to install the mechanics, but will probale do thsi winter. The T-Rex 500 is my target mechanics as well, however I will use a Logo 10 tail for [build] convenience.

Ea01bg, I agree with you, I have built the approach cobra fuse also but I still have my swift 550 mechanics to install which by the way is a lot bigger than my trex 500. I was told when doing my build that the trex 500 simply won't work cause of a belt issue, unless this has been addressed by Dr Tim. To me my trex 500 doesn't seem big enough compared to my swift 550 I'm not talking power wise just size.

I was refering to the skyhunter link. I see a 600 cobra but not a 500.
The apprach "kit" is a real builders kit. Its a block of wood you shap into a cobra. Hats of to the guys that have the skills and time to do this. It seems like a little to much work for a sport scale ,Me I'll stick to fiberglass.
