Very good. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to seeing the completed machine.

I'm trying to come up with a decent paint scheme for my Horizon - thinking it will be a white base with red and black trim. Nitro, not electric for once in a long while, and there's this paint durability thing rearing its ugly head. Guess it's time to order up a couple cans of the clear and stop worrying about it.

I just used the old paint scheme LOL. But Heli_headcase, whatever colour you decide to use. Finish all the painting (and trim) before you use the clear coat (Like I did) and I'm glad to to the testing

Oh, in case you don't know. My Horizon uses 640mm blades, cos Chuck bent the boom down slighty, so they wouldn't hit the tail blades (He flew the heli with them) and that's why I made a backup set.

Oh again (LOL) If you do a light smear of apoxy onto the alum tail tubes (using a finger) the paint will stick better to the alum (won't peel of easliy).
