Thats very typical from you.

Your lack of a high school education shows very clearly when you try to actually tell me what I believe.

I choose to believe as I do because I can.

Maybe because he was so soon back after a previous booting and was being watched more closely than usual, I cant see any reason for the most recent one either, the one before that I think may have been a case of sarcastic misinterpretation.

Dennis,

What I got from outhouse's post was, that if you believe in God, then why do you not hate him for all the murder and suffering he's caused?

That seems like a perfectly reasonable question to me.

One thing I feel it's important to remember is that folk who do not believe in God, do not hate him; for the simple reason that it's impossible to hate something that doesn't exist.

In the first place, that post was not a question.

It was a statement from a God hater and an arm chair scientist with a low IQ, and with an extremely arrogant attitude towards others and their beliefs.

A poor combination of character.

You are right on the edge of supporting that type of behavior Dusty.

Up to you I guess.

God is good, and loves us all. But he is no pushover. If you want listen he will make you, no matter what it takes. A few years of suffering on this earth is nothing to eternity of peace. It's a very good deal if you ask me. And God does not ask us to give away all our wants and needs, for things we enjoy, but he does not want us to let it take over our lives to the point we are blind to his presence. We need to be obedient, and listen and search for him. Also he requires us to love and take care of one another. And not think we are better than our neighbor. Why is this so bad?

Sick people and those that are born with defects are not Gods fault either. We have brought this on ourselves. Through the way we live, and stuff we put in the air, ground, food.

But he will make sure they are compensated in the next life.

Those that are first will be last, and the last will be first.
The poor and afflicted will be rulers over the earth.

God even loves the Atheist just the same as the saved.
God will rejoice more over one atheist coming home, than the 99 that are saved.

We need to be obedient,
you need to be, i cant imagine at that level.
God is good, and loves us all
you can think that way if you want, i know when and how man created your god in "our" image.
Also he requires
yes or he will murder us all like he was supposed to have done in the past.

it amazes me how much people think they know a figment of there imagination. It blinds them to logic and science.

you need to remember less then a third of the people on the planet belive that BS. I live a great life and i have more or less the same valies and moral's you do. I garantee you if there is a special place we will be there together, one does not have to worship the christian faith to get there. If you believe im wrong then you also believe god murders little inoccent children and babies who have not learned your religion yet as well as the majority of the people and inoccent good people all over the planet not exposed to your religion stolen from pagans

If there is a god in your eyes he is one cruel MF

your god treats us like dogs and grabs us by a choker chain and yanks us into belief with fear and fear alone. There isnt on bit of kindness there at all.

Supposing it was a question. Would it not be a reasonable one?
It was a statement from a God hater and an arm chair scientist with a low IQ, and with an extremely arrogant attitude towards others and their beliefs.
I honestly don't know how you can think it's possible to hate something that you don't believe exists. I have no problem with the basic message of the Bible ''love thy neighbour'' and ''do unto others as you would have others do unto you'' and FWIW I think it's a good way to live.

But it cannot be denied that there is also much murder and hatred in the Bible, along with the 'good' elements like the ones I mentioned above. Is it not reasonable to hate the murder and hatred aspects of the Bible, and wonder why others don't feel the same way?
You are right on the edge of supporting that type of behavior Dusty.

That's not bad, it's good. But religion isn't required to do such.

The rest of it though, is just a load of religious mumbo jumbo.

Hate is irrational Dusty. Any rational adult knows that.

Yes, of course they have. But, you seemed to determine that the post we are referring to was a simply question when all I saw was irrational God hatred. I reckon I have a hard time understanding that. Thats why the comment.

Ok, perhaps I read the post too quickly. I accept that it was a statement and not a question, and therefore outhouse was not looking for an answer.

So, let me ask you. Whether or not hate is rational, is it not in fact rational, to hate the murder and hatred aspects of the Bible?

The irrational answer to that question would seem to be 'no'

The rational answer would be 'yes'.

Do you agree?

See how stupid that is when you cut and paste the same stupid statement over and over?

I know you must think you came up with something clever to say but after it gets repeated verbatim so many times,it just becomes nonsense.

Come up with a new thought.
I've seen you cut and paste like that numerous times.
Once may be clever but after a couple.....not so much

I literally never use the word literally right.

I choose not to get into a philosophical question & answer session on the bible here. To many people can take the depths of their understanding of the bible to literally simply to support an idea, or for the purposes argument.

Never have argued the bible here. Don't intend to in the future.

To attempt to resolve or debate the teachings in the bible is a waste of time for me to enter into. The way I see it, thats the only rational way to go.

Besides, outhouse's irrational God Hate rant he got into, I don't recall that the bible was mentioned. It was just a rant by a God hater and an arm chair scientist with a low IQ, with an extremely arrogant and poor attitude towards others and their beliefs, using extremely poor judgment just to provoke.
