Now that I have about 5 gallons on the heli I'm going to give it a good cleaning and look over. It has been flying great with zero mechanical issues.

Thanks Chris
I really appreciate you taking the time to describe your experience with this new helicopter. I am shopping for a new bird for my upcoming winter build and have been eyeing the Rave ENV for some time. Your "blog" has been very helpful. I am sure I speak for others when I say THANK YOU. I look forward to your upcoming posts on this subject.

Thanks Steve

It's much appreciated. I have always wanted to do something like this. I have made it a goal lately to try to help out more people. This is one way to do that. I also do RC clinics at my house for everything. Cars, planes, and helis.

I am very specific about what product I buy. I had a Rave 450 last winter and enjoyed it. I new when the Rave ENV released I would look into it. After looking through the manual online and reading what I could, I knew it would be my next 90. At first there where a couple things I did not like. Now after owning the heli those things where nothing.

At this point there is not much lift to really report on the Rave 90. It will just be maintenance and longevity. I do plan on going FLB later and trying different settings then. I guess I do need to switch blades and report on that.

I am no stranger to FBL and look forward to trying it on the Rave 90 for a good comparison.

If anyone has and specific questions about the Rave ENV feel free to ask. I'll answer what I can.

Thanks Chris

guys do not run the gain at 70% on the 701 that is way to high you will burn the servo out i have done this all ready you need to pull the gain down to 35 % and set it up like a 611 there is a miss print in the manual

No I didn't mean it that way I meant miss print in the 701 manual

also on a side note i am using a 14mz flying a 700 so the setup might be a little differant for me.
