Bought a used 450 Pro with Hitec 5065's in it and they don't center well at all. On the bench I can see it on the swash leveler and in the air I can get it to hover without it drifting off hard either left or right and its not my flying.

What should I get to replace them? I hate asking but I haven't kept up with the latest and greatest for these mini heli's in a couple of years.

I also bought a used trex 450 pro with the hs5065mg's but mine are very accurate. I can hover hands off and even look away from the heli for a few seconds without worrying about it doing anything weird. Not sure if yours are just worn out but mine are great. Throughout the years of my rc hobby I have always found that JR center the best, futaba are great too as I have always used them as my tail servos. As far as what JR or Futaba for your cyclic i'm not sure. Good luck

I have the 5065's in mine and they center perfectly. It hovers just about the same as my 700's. How do they center with the links removed? Maybe there is binding elsewhere causing them not to center.

They won't center with links on or off, they must have been well used or crashed. Just ordered three more 5065's and am going to send these in to see what they can do with them.

Balls and links are not loose? If the heli has been flown a while this may be the cause. A little slop can cause plenty of frustration.

High Voltage just works better

fwiw..

The hitec servos generally work very well...Yours may be worn, but I have one 450 with hundreds of flights on the 5065 servos and they fly fine still....
