I'm putting together an HK500GT and just bought this motor Scorpion Brushless Motor HK-3026-1900KV 80A. Which ESC would go best with this motor? Also any recommendation on servos to use as well? the servos don't necessarily have to be top of the line. Thanks.

Suggest the CC Ice75. If you choose the Ice, and not the Ice-Lite, you will be able to move up to 8s in the future should you choose to.

I used one on my T500. The internal bec worked fine and the data logging is very useful.

For servos I used Hitec 5245MG's. Good quality, midline price, metal gears and digital. I still have them (used) if you are interested.

So I'm assuming the Ice 75 is ok to use even though the HK-3026 is an 80A continuous. I will not be using that much so the 75a is ok?

I'd try the ICE 80HV, then you are good up to 12S.

I'm kind of confused. Will the 75a still work with the motor I have? I know the ICE 80HV would be the better choice however the 75a is quite a bit cheaper. I know, I know if you want cheap your in the wrong hobby. I just don't want to much or to little ESC for my motor. If the ICE 75a will work fine then that's what I'll go with but if there is a chance I could screw my motor up by not using the 80HV then I'll go that route.

Look at the Castle recommendations.

Shows limitations on batteries for ICE:

I'm new to the electric world. It seems to me that the max Amps of the motor and the max amps of the esc don't mater? I'm to believe the esc and the batteries need to match?

If you are using over 6S, I would suggest you use one of the HV controllers.

Wasn't planning on using over 6s. I planned on using 2 3s 2200mah 11.1v in series. I already have a bunch of these.
