Set nubmer three and I can't figure what's wrong. Far as i know I have setup everything acccording to the vids on Mikado site and followed the manual.

Brand new never flown L600.

When I go to auto trim the heli turn on the tx @ full collective power up heli double twitch etc etc. When motor starts and builds up speed the blade grip links pop off at the swash plate. I can't see any binding when I setup the heli on the bench. Also these links are coming off as the blades spool up before I can start increaseing the collective from -12 towards 0* to start getting the heli in the positive collective range. The clamp with the mixing arm is in alignment with the head but, I have noticed all three times the collar gets twisted out of alignment. The 1st time I thought I forgot to tighen the clamp to the main shaft the 2nd & 3rd times I know I tightend it down.

Each time there's not been enough speed built up so luckly I have only bent the links.

Got to order more links now so cant repair til Wed or Thurs.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong in my setup.

Thanks for any help

Is the inner race of the swashplate binding, because that is the only foreseeable way for that to happen that I can tell.

Man sometimes it's the simplest thing we (I mean I) over look!!

I feel like a dumb!@#. In stead of delteing this post I thought I'd leave it incase someone else doing a search is having the same problem.

ANSWER. I missed the hole in the main shaft that the jesus bolt goes through when mounting the head.

please don't bash me too hard

I was going to offer to either bring it by my place or I'll come over to your place to be a second set of eyes... but glad to hear you found it! Good thing it decided to pop on spool up and not once in the air...

Get that thing in the air soon-- I have 40 flights on my 600SE already as of today.

I remember chuckling when I saw that video for the first time.

Second time, I was ROTFLMAO.

Friends... here's what you have to do to fully appreciate this:

1: Click on the 720p option so you get the full hi-def experience.
2: Expand the video to fill your screen-- YOU MUST GO FULL SCREEN.
3: Play it once so the video gets downloaded to your computer.
4: Place your cursor on about the 0:16 second mark -- so you can quickly rewind it and play it like a loop.
5: Click on that mark, hit the spacebar to watch it play.
6: Watch the guy flinch at about the 0:19 second mark.
7: Click on the 0:16 second mark again to play it like a loop.

OK, maybe it was just me, but it was hilarious.

It's subtle, but it's there... You've just seen a person who just shat himself. Hilarious how he just watches the blades go probably 100 feet in the air. Then he just nonchalantly glances back at the heli.

My theory: he looks at the heli in a very unconcerned way... because it's at this point he realizes that he shat himself -- and the heli is now probably the least of his worries. He has to pack up and drive home sitting in that stuff.

BTW, I showed this sequence to my wife.

Her response (shaking her head, and not really laughing): "I'm married to you? How old are you???"

My response: "Right now, it's like I'm 13 again. Just let me enjoy this!"

Ok, time for me to step away from the keyboard.
