I have A Trex 500 w/spektrum ar 6200 rx and just bought a solid-g along with a g-view here on RR.
Now, I'd like to find recommended setups for: what servo setting to pick
(got 9257) does the wiring to rx matter, tail servo only moves in one direction?
I have a feeling I'll be bugging my local RR buddy again.

There are several different videos on youtube that talk you through the setup of the Solid G. The Solid G is an awesome gyro, and is full of tons of features for fine tuning. As for the wiring, yes it does matter. You will want to plug the rudder lead into the rudder channel on your receiver, and the gain lead into the gear or channel 5 on your receiver.....

It's very similar, do you have the little booklet that came with it? If so it makes it real easy. If I can remember correctly you will choose an actual model with the solid g whereas with the mini g you only choose between models A and B. A is for most helis and B is more tailored for the Trex 500. Other than thE setups are basically same with the mini g having a few more fine tuning points.
