After 2 years of off and on flying.. I finally had a decent.. 5 or 6 second inverted hover.. it just sunk that hook that much deeper.. what a rush for the first time.. still up at 100 feet.. but getting there.

Don't sell yourself short. Height doesn't matter especially the first couple times. Trying anything high the first time is simple prudence. I say good job! Big accomplishment!

If it can't hover, it ain't worth flying.

Good job! You might not believe this, but the lower you get, the easier it is!! You will pick up on drift quicker. The only thing that is harder about doing it lower is breathing.. I had a friend remind me to breathe..

I have been flying for some time and I just learned to hover inverted this year..

Well done Wedge77 its a big step! Out of interest was it nose in or tail in? I only ask because I find most people learn nose in inverted first. I found tail in easier to start with, now I cant do it??!?

Very high, very fast, too much money, no you cant have a go!

Well done Wedge77!! keep up the good work. My first inverted hover was nose in and lasted for about 5 seconds before i had to flip out of it. I think you have to fly helis to know how much that actually means the rush or the thrill. The average person doesn't even know how hard it is. They think its like an rc car I get this alot at my flying field from the people that stop to watch.

Nice Wedge, just program it in your head that when your inverted stick down is up. When I did my first inverted hover as soon as I flipped it I kept saying "down is up, down is up". Now 4 months later I'm doing inverted ff, backwards and inverted backwards.

Wedge77-Good job! Keep at it, it'll get easier, next thing you know you'll be getting lower and lower and lower inverted and then you can get rid of your lawnmower .

Damn that ground is hard! When's the right time to get out of this money sucking hobby?
