I don't especially like Align, but I was kidding more than anything. Put down the pitchfork!

If it can't hover, it ain't worth flying.

This particular remote clip

from HeliProz (and probably other shops) has outperformed the one posted earlier in this thread, at least in my experience.

I had one as shown earlier, and found that the rubber boot easily tears, and the mechanism that actually clips on the stem of the plug eventually fails and becomes a pain in the a$$ to work with. If that weren't enough, the connection to the remote glow plug body itself eventually fatigued and broke. Vibrations found in most nitro powered helis are not friendly to this particular design.

The one with the alligator clip has performed well for years, now. Easy on, easy off, and no failures to date.

dkshema's picture is a better one than the first picture

But it just has a somewhat flimsy aluminum bracket on the ignitor end.

Still better, but nowhere near what we ought to be offered. Why has no one taken the feedback to "build a better mousetrap."

I use Maverikk. The first thing I do is cut the rubber boot off to allow better access to the alligator clip. I have a Revolution as well because that's all I could find at the time I needed it. Cut the clip off and soldered an alligator clip from Radio Shack.
