Looking for my first nitro engine. I see Align makes a .91 at about $100 less than the others. Aren't the Align engines just "rebadged" OS engines?

I'm running one in my 700n.. I'm very happy with it.. I don't think the engine knows it's $100 cheaper than it's twin

while it is true that you don't get an os warranty, it doesn't mean much as OS hasn't been real liberal on their warranty. strictly defined, a warranty is against original defects in workmanship or production, and unless you get yours with an obvious malformity, once you start it, the warranty is pretty much gone, and they are not cheap to rebuild. I have two Align 91s that run just fine, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, and yes, it is an OS .91HZ. also, Align recently started reselling parts of their motors, which while bearing the same retail price as their OS counterparts, can probably be had at the LHS for a little less than what OS/Tower might want.

I have a couple guys at the flying field that run the Align motors and haven't had any problems. I would say go for it and save a little money.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

This is odd, usually a rebadge costs more not less!

running the Align .91SZ-H. Works great no issues whatsoever. When you get it and open it up besides the Align name on it, the rest of it is all OS and you can tell, excellent quality througout.

The engine that comes with the 700N in my case was the 91H and is a OS 91 HZ rebranded. It runs great.
