My friend asked me to find a new home for this helicopter.
It is a Trex 600 electric, mounted in the align fuse. It was put together for him by another friend of mine. My friend who built it significantly reinforced the attachment points between the mechanics and the fuse. He did this because these are known for oscillating due to the stock high headspeed and we wanted to beef it up. Despite that, it did oscillate so the test was cut short before it was damaged. I have seen this resolved by others by slowing the 2100 headspeed down to 1800 or so. So to enjoy it you will want to get either a smaller pinion or a lower KV motor.
It comes complete with the original Trex 600 electric ESC, BEC and motor. It includes top of the line Airtronics 94758 cyclic servos and a GY611 tail gyro/servo setup. Also includes a ready to bind Spektrum receiver, I think it is the 7 channel one that comes with the DX7. Also has some cool lights and strobe installed which work nicely. All were bought new for the heli.
After the initial test, it was never run again, so everything is brand new. There is no damage whatsoever to the fuselage beyond a small nick where the washout touched the edge of the top of the fuselage. It abraded the edge slightly, but did not crack it or do any significant damage. Easy touch up with no painting required (sand the edge a bit).
Includes Curtis tail blades, but no main blades or battery. Is all basically brand new. The assembly job is really nice.
Asking $950, but am interested in any serious offers. Really not practical to ship it, so it will need to be a local sale.
If you are interested in something like this, you should really check it out. If you are so inclined, I could conceivably crate and ship it, but that would be at your expense.
Also, if you have your own electronics, I could remove items to lower the price (gyro/servos/receiver).
Check my feedback which speaks for itself.
keepin' it real
