All that are interested, The Rotormast.com site is taking pre-orders for there V-22 model to be released in September. This model will come pre painted, with CNC cut panel lines molded right in. It looks great and flys great also.

I'm in. It would really help both the customer and your business if you allowed PayPal. It provides us with an extra layer of protection and will bring more buyers to the table.

Out of curiosity, which 3D moves is it capable of doing, exactly?

I would like to see those very much. Must be breathtaking...

Anyone else having a problem logging in at the rotomast site? I spent the day in one do loop after another. I've PM'd and e-mailed Rotomast. Still waiting for a reply.

I did have that trouble ... although I had signed in way early before ... I had to create a new account (same email as before ) and it accepted it ... so I think that somewhere down the updating the website they lost our accounts or atleast some of them .

Thanks to Tom Mast, I'm in.Mine is number 10. In SE Asia, being number 10 was not a good thing, but I'll wager it's OK in Texas and Mississippi. Early adopters unite.

A question for Tom Mast: Is the recommended equipment list fairly stable? How much test flying has been done with the recommended suite of gear?
Whats needed to fly the v22 besides of what you get from ROTORMAST?
Recommended equipment needed to complete kit:
4 cyclic servos, Rotormast RM-5085MG servos or Airtronics 94761Z
2 speed controllers Castle Creations 45 amp / or similar with WORKING govenor
2 motors Scorpion HK-2221-10 / or similar 2222 2800KV 4S brushless outrunner
3 gyros, high quality SMM, like 401 or similar
1 seven or eight channel RX
1 Helicopter TX (best with a slider or knob for conversion, but not necessary)
2 4 cell 30C 2200 ma batteries
1 5 amp BEC
The servo count raises a question. How do you get by with less than 8 servos? Six for cyclic and two for wing rotation???

Time to recruit crew members from my collection of BBI and 21st Century 1:18 scale display helis. These figures are going to complete the full cockpit interior that's coming down the line.

I wondered the same ,,, and came up with ,,, and this sounds good ... we'll see what it is actually ..

He supplies the servos for the tilt units since they might be special equipped !!???
Or he forgot them when he listed the other equipment .
I have my servos, ESC , and motors on the way ,,,I am ready to build !!!!!!!!

Or even more exotic ,,, when you tilt the forward cyclic to full tilt it engages a tilt clutch / gears that run off the main gear,,, as there seems to be a lot of tilt gearing and such in the parts list

That would explain the listing. Four servos for cyclic and two for wing translation. Exciting times.

great teaser Boyd !!!!
I am guessing that the transition motors are supplied as they maybe something special ...as the parts needed list that a TX with a slider knob for transition would be great ... so there must be some other motor servo for that appilcation .It also looks like something stuck in the front of the wing ,,that might be a special motor for tilt ... time will tell .
