Got some more photos from today.

It was really hot but the flying was tremendous. There has been very little time where the scale station was vacant.

Plus a special treat

A EC135 did an ABSOULET AWSOME flyby doing piros down the length of the flight line and a couple rippin high speed flyby's

Enjoy the pics guys,

here are a few of the ones i took today. it was hot, the hottest its ever been at ircha since i have been coming, thats since 2001.
lotsa great flying at the scale station like Butch said. that ec135 rocked especially meeting the pilots before they departed and showing off our birds for them. i got some vids but my digital camera doesnt do the best vids. i know someone got some good vids though cuz every camera was rolling. i didnt realize the ec135 was that fast. the flybys were super sweet.
more to come tomorow.

Congrats on being National Champion in Scale Butch! Your S-76 was a stunning machine and flew very well! My favorite part of watchin it fly was how much delay you had when then gear retracted and then the gear door shut.. that was very cool!

Who's stunning interior is that in Emile's pictures. That looks like you could step in and start it up !!!!

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

yeah, that is nice. Personally, I really liked Butch's interior. I still can't figure out how he got print that small on the instruments panels.

Congrats Butch, and everyone else for competing. Looks like a great competition. Wish I could've been there. I watched the build on the s-76 and that is one sweet machine. Congrats again.

Now who's got some vid of the EC-135?

This brought back some memories.. Bob did a killer killer job on this.. When I walked up I really thought it was Len's and someone had gotten it back to the US somehow, since Stephen Fan got killed in that racing incident.. Really wanted to see it fly though.. He will have it sorted out by next year.. The modifications to the OF head to make it scale where phenomenal..

I'm amazed that "Eurocopter" machine didn't place too. Some hard choices there.

I thought that might have been why. Nice looking machine for sure. Right up there with Butch. That Sea King is pretty sweet too.
