Well, I guess its true.

If you build it they will come. It's amazing all the good things that have come the Eagles way. We have built a great club with great members! It's nice to see the pictures and see all my friends having fun. That Darwin sure knows how to make an entrance.Thank you Darwin and the Kansas City Police Department.

The Eagles

Looks like the Eagles rolled out the green carpet for KCPD.

Calling any Habu pilots

I heard Jimmy and Dennis have been talking to a Habu pilot. I'm just not sure they can land an SR71 in the green. Jimmy, Dennis might have been right the pad could have been a little bigger.

Jimmy

What are you trying to say? I think what your trying to say is if a full sized Heli can land there then Dennis should at least be able to land his 250 on the pad. Well, he'll just have to muster up the courage.

Little more practice

I took my heli down to the corner softball diamond (nobody else there) and practiced some more nose-in hovering. At one point, a gust of wind came along and for a moment it got a little out of shape, but I pulled it back into a hover without much fuss.

Hmm... my head is definitely thinking about flying, but is it just me or is the memory of the KCPD helicopter still just plain awesome?

Is someone sending a "thank you" letter to the pilot or Darwin, or both? (Darwin is the mechanic, right?) We really should let them know that we appreciate them taking the time to come out and show off the helicopter and answer our questions. They could have easily said "No" to the request. I mean, not only did they bring the chopper, but they hung around, talked for awhile, showed off the engine, and even landed on our pad so we could take photos!

To me, that just seems above and beyond any expectations I had, but maybe that's just my opinion.
