Men from high society that have big balls shouldn't watch this.

Rember even a rather small ball is more fun than no balls.

I myself like having balls.

Hello fellow birds! It was awesome to finally get out and fly last wed and thur. I have RF g4.5 at the moment... Hopefully I can get the upgrade soon and join you guys online. It sounds like a blast!

I just about have my 600 nsp ready and I just received a new 250se in the mail today.

Dennis, did you have any problems with the tail on your 250? If so, what did you do to fix it?

The tail on my 250 seems smooth but the blade grips have a lot of lateral play. I bought the super combo which comes with the gp 780 gyro and ds420. I don't have them yet but I ordered four 681X abec 3 bearings. I was planning on removing the washer and adding one to each side. I saw that fix posted somewhere on here I think.

Has anyone tried the spacer with two 681X bearings or the chinese weights from Heim Joint?

Thanks!!

Hey, glad to see you made it here
Dennis is the 250 man. I've never seen a smoother one fly. When I had a 250 I was never satisfied with the tail. I know they have made improvements don't know what they are. I think they improved the tail hub. The next important thing would be gyro and tail servo. I think your gyro is ok but I would get a better tail servo.
The micro beast would be a cool addition. It is awesome on mikey's 450.

Cant wait to see you at the field.

If your 250 is an SE it already has the chinese weights. I did double up the bearings in the tail grips. I don't think I used any spacers, I didn't buy any anyway. My stock 780 gyro works great, the tail servo is junk and I upgraded quickly. I also made a carbon fiber tail servo pushrod and got rid of the guides that slide on the boom.

I agree on the tail servo. I didn't have luck with that servo. What servo are you using.

Its a shame
Its a shame the extent we have to go just to get walking Eagle to respond.

I sure don't want to show the splinter video. But yet at the same time I cant wait.

I am using a Futaba 3157 micro. Night and day difference. With the ball in the innermost hole on the smallest servo arm. You don't want any binding at all on the ball links for the tail, size the links if they are tight.

Field Snow Shutdown
Marty and I went to the field to fly today, but the gates were closed. What a blow! Looks like we will have to call the ranger to open up the Eagles nest so we can fly.

Can't fly is you don't try.

G5 is being used
G5 is being used instead of the Phoenix right now. Everybody seems to be enjoying the G5. You may have to adapt to a G5 to join us.

Gate Might Be Open???
Today I called the Ranger to open the gate at Minor Park for Friday and this weekend. The Ranger stated that it was closed due to a safety issue. I told the Ranger it is a long walk and a big inconvenience carrying our equipment to the shelter when the gate is locked. The Ranger said that they would go to Minor Park and do an evaluation to decide whether or not to unlock the gate.

I tried!
