Dual purpose!

Good idea! After the first flight I could just put the warm Lipo in the transmitter mit.
I'm going to be out there early afternoon tomorrow. Hope to you you there flying.

Darrell, you should'nt let Moonbird see something like that he'll probably make two or three before I can even get home. It's all fun and games until someone melts a transmitter.

What we need is some kind heated spacesuit and then we'll just plug it into Rodge's new generator.

If I can find a bear to come out of hibernation and just hug me all winter, I'll be able to stay warm.

Moonbird, your dreaming if you think that will happen two years in a row. Give the bear a break.

Your absolutely right, the Eagles fly if it's cold or hot. The weather doesn't stop us at all. We're the ultimate Eagles!

I have just checked with the minor park park Rangers and apparently there're no bears in our woods. Pete, are you sure that was a bear? What's big and hairy and comes out of the minor Park woods looking to hug another man? Oh my goodness, Pete, you may have had a Sasquatch encounter. I've heard some very strange sounds in the woods lately. I guess if the Sasquatch does get you you just go with the flow and hope for the best. Pete I appreciate you being brave in sharing this with the rest of us. I hope if we have an encounter we can be positive and look at the bright side just like you have. I bet it did keep you warm. There's always a price to pay for keeping warm.

I sure wish I could've been there sounds like you guys had a great day. From what Sean said sounds like you guys had a lot of pilots there today. From what I've heard Sunday is supposed to be a nice day to.

I'm going to have to agree with Roger on that one. It's always nice when the helicopters go up and come down in one piece. The more reliable the helicopters become the more we can focus on our flying. It's incredible how far helicopters have come in just a few years. It's just hard to imagine that they can keep getting better. It's nice to have good equipment where we can just focus on our flying. I love to see pilots progress, always wanting more out of their flying. I think that's what flying helicopters is all about always seeking the next level. Always looking to improve their flying machine. The wide world of sports put it best when they said the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Then you see a skier going over ski jump crashing down smashing down breaking his legs into the snow. Oh, the agony of defeat. Without a good dose of defeat you'll never have the sweet taste of victory. That said let's all go out and fly.

We should all remember the young Vinko Bogataj's last words before he went over the ski jump "Oh ****...why did I do this". And remember hindsight is always 20/20.

Yep, D. Magee is right, I was out at the field both Saturday and today for the afternoon. Got my 500 back together (again) and now that I ditched those 3G FBL blades and went back to regular blades, it performs much better. I also put some KBDD dampers in the head and that helps responsiveness too. Now if I would just listen to Mikey G. and upgrade my BeastX to 3.08, I'd be all set. haha!
