Take two of these and call me in the morning!

Yes, I know the feeling all to well. I have spent the money for bills , gas an food etc.. on helicopters , parts , blades, engines you know the fun stuff. Looking back I'm glad I spent the money, my ex-wives not so much! If I had not I wouldn't be where I'm at today, found a great girlfriend that loves the hobby (even going to 10 or so fun-flys a year) I have reach a long term goal of mine , Now I'm a Rep. for Outrage RC. I hope to advance to a higher level, to do that I have to burn more fuel and buy more parts. What a vicious cycle!

Usually happens after I buy something I KNOW I don't REALLY need... but then again, what do we really need?

I'm sure you can't guess how ofter this happens to me. Just last week I wanted to get a new TX (had mine for over 2 years 10C) then talked myself out of it, because my TX still works great, well guess what, yes I ordered myself a new TX....Why oh Why?

LOL. I know exactly how you feel. I just replaced my 4 week old 7C with an 8FGH because... well I don't know, just because. Fought off the urge to buy a new 91HZ for the 700 though... so far, but I am pretty sure I will most likely get it in a few weeks. The wife realized how many helis I had today and said, "Where are all these helis coming from?" Guess my covers blown.

Buyers remorse

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buyer's_remorse
In the phase before purchasing, a prospective buyer often feels positive emotions associated with a purchase (desire, a sense of heightened possibilities, and an anticipation of the enjoyment that will accompany using the product, for example); afterwards, having made the purchase, they are more fully able to experience the negative aspects: all the opportunity costs of the purchase, and a reduction in purchasing power.

it would be...feeling crappy/guilty at the money you just spent, or at how much more you will need to spend it order to get the kit you just bought in the air.

I feel that way right now. I smashed up my 700E this afternoon and it was pretty messed up. I really don't need to be spending money on stuff like that but flying keeps me sane so I guess it is better than some things I could be spending money on.

When I was young I was bad about pouring money into needless things and getting that high, then the remorse sets in afterwards. Now, I don't do it. I still get the high, but it is for much smaller smarter things. I have bills, mortgage, all the adult things I have to be responsible for. When all of that is taken care of, and I have extra loot, that feels much better to spend and I get zero remorse. I usually look for the awesome deal, and I am very patient now. The deal always comes along, and when I can score, it is much better than paying huge amounts for the same thing. Nope, no more remorse.

I feel if your having remorse for buying parts or another heli then you are not budgeting your money right. Impusle spending is the worse thing a person can do. If you can't afford the item right then you should save for it then you wont have buyers remorse.
