i crashed my 600 today due to servo failure on cyclic i think due to me doing tic tocs prolly close to 3 a second for 10 second bursts and some inverted punchouts. it was a blue bird servo from hobbycity. will never use that brand again.
the heli is a 12s powered monster with a castle phoenix ice 80hv and a scorp hk-4025-630 so it has the power of an align 90 motor in a 50 size heli. likely its alot of load on the servo's especially being that it doesn't have mixing arms to help leverage it around.
i was thinking i'd get some align ds610's but they are expensive and i don't need that crazy speed it seems i need the torque so it can handle the FBL workload.
has anyone used the Hyperion HP-DS20x-TMD?
also id like to stay under 70$ a servo so i can afford to fix it some time before august-September. i know that this may seriously limit me but as of lately my wife is angry when i spend 30 bucks for 450 blades.
im going to need new blades too ive now flown the white 3d blades, tig z-weave and rjx and all have been good but what do you recommend for the hard fast snappy stops i seem to love so much.
what are the opinions of all you experience large heli flyers?
Who cares... its just money...
