i jsut crashed mine too due to cyclic servo fail!

i had cheap blue bird servo's that gave out after hard fast tic tocs. mine is 12s with a 3G so servo load would have been high.

what servo's did you have on yours?

Who cares... its just money...

here i am thinking i'd get 610's suppose i'll look into something different the power of a 90 engine in a 50 size heli is brutal on the servo's and even more so with flybarless :/

The DS610s are plenty strong for a 600 or 700. Sorry to see the carnage - I'm also running a 12S setup (600 ESP, DS610s on cyclic). If the DS610s are the culprit, you might want to consider the Hyperion DS20s since they are in the same price range... I hesitate to recommend JR 8717 since they are pricey, but maybe older JR digital servos, like the 8417s?

looks like you needed a bag. look on the bright side now you can get a new kit.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Did the 610 fail or was it the servo arm / disc. I ask ecause I've had one strip in flight on my 12s 600. I switched to the metal wheels and the 610s have been fine every since.

You had me at Hover

it was a total cyclic and tail failure , all servos are fine , it only ever happens to me when i fit the 3G on board ? but can`t prove nothing , have tried different batts , reg and rec between smacks and even the last two had a different 3G on board ?

i crashed mine twice after i added the 3g because my servo's would over draw my little blue castle bec. sounds to me like yours is doing something similar to that.

Who cares... its just money...

I have seen a friends Castle BEC cut out when stirring the sticks. The higher the voltage the worse it gets.

i upgraded from a castle bec (the little blue one) to the castle bec pro and no longer have any issues with the power. in fact i trust my bec now because i was able to burn up cyclic servo's without power failure

a mate thinks it might be cos i`m on 35mhz ? i used the original 3G in my rappy 50 nitro for many many flights without failure , and also in my rex 600 nitro , it was only when i went 12s that my problems started , funny thing tho , my electronics stayed the same during the conversion , only the engine for changed for a scorpion motor n 2 times 6s li-po`s , could there be a frequency putting my PCM rec into failsafe ?
