I have set it up to run high governor but every time I go to spool up, it will not start. I have to change it with the programming card to auto read and then it works.

I was wondering why. The only thing that comes to mind that I don't know if it matters is that at the lowest throttle position, I still have a bit of trim on.

I read somewhere that depending on the setup , the throttle needs to be down in order to initialize as a safety feature ?

Also, if it makes any difference, once I plug my card and go down to throttle/governor to change the settings, all lights on top blink red. ?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

P.S. My head speed values while on the PC are set so it does not give me any errors..

Did you match your radio endpoints to the Castle ESC? For example, with my ICE50 my throttle endpoints on my DX7 are Low 115 / High 105 to make the ESC see 0% / 100% throttle.

You beat me to it. I was coming to post an update.

I actually did do the throttle calibration. It all works fine now.
I was not sure if I had to do that but a friend told me I have to, no matter what I plan to run it with.

Thanks for the reply anyway.

Mario.
