took out my L600 today. What a beautiful day by the way. Spun her up blasted off, everthing seemed ok. Flipped her on her back for some inverted practice and the motor went still. 2 seconds tops. I flipped her right side up power fully restored and finished out the pack. No blinking lights etc on the speed control. Pretty humid today. should I be worried? I flew two more packs after without incident.

any comments appreciated

I will be scare. That happen to me today. Nice dry weather in California, Idle one, I have the motor and tail grounded and I was level when I lost the power and that baby came down. Luckily no damage was done, but I am scare to fly again.
I admire that you plugged new set of batteries and flew it twice. For me was over, no way that I was going to fly again

I would certainly start on checking your soldering connections. I had a friend who had this. We took off his heatshrink on motor ends, and one of his ends had a bad solder joint. I am not certain of rest of your setup, BUT all pre soldered connections I personally "REDO" to my satisfaction 100%. Having 100% good soldering on esc/motor ends makes all the difference in the world.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
