On the Raptor 50,I turn it on and the gy401 flashes.I thought the power wasnt getting to the receiver to initialize the 401.I unplugged the 401 and plugged it back in,it still flashes..Any ideas??

is the srvo plugged in check the manual it will tell you what the lights mean

some gyros have to be in either HH mode or rate mode when they first get power. cant remember if the 401 is one of them or not.

GY 401 must boot up on initial power on on Heading Hold. If boot up is on rate mode the light will flash.

Also, check to see that the rudder trim is on center. There must be zero trim on rudder channel.

heading hold

The gyro must be initialized in the heading hold mode. What ever channel the yellow wire is plugged into, Reverse it and you will now initialize in the right mode. Dave
