Hi all
As you can see I live way down under

So I spose those in OZ can tell me where we stand as to overseas buying of Li-Po;s. Are we able to, or are we at the mercy of hobby shops here?
I am looking to replace some batteriees soon and am wondering the cheapest way to go. Thanks guys.

the ems trackin system isn't showing anything on my order, so i emailed hk and here is their response.

Parcel delays with Airport Screening on Lipoly
Hong Kong International Airport is conducting extra screening and creating delays on all orders with large batteries.
We advise customers to avoid ordering large Lipoly battery (above 2200mAh) for the next 14 days.

In some cases these parcels may be delayed at the airport for up to 4 days.
EMS/Air Parcel tracking will not show during this period.

HobbyKing is now finding other means of shipping method to help avoid these delays and increasing German and US warehouse stock.
We are in constant contact with 'AVSEC' the airport security company and will let you know as soon as the delays are solved.

This delay is just something temporary. We saw the same issue last year, and the year before.
Airport security gets tight for a few weeks, maybe to demonstrate to a government official visiting from out-of-town, and then returns to normal.

Im is Aus and buy all my packs from HK.

Theres been some talk in the last few days about Hong Kong post possibly not shipping large lipos anymore, how much can you read into that Im not sure, I havent ordered or read anything on HK in the last few days.

I dont think it will effect us here in Australia anyhow as it would seem that even before all this stuff popped up here on RR, HK had already anounced on its homepage that it now has a private courier that ships to AUS that is better then EMS anyway.

The very notion our supply of packs may be in danger had me very worried, but I dont think it will be a problem.

The only advice I would give is if you order, use there new courier and not EMS or otherwise just to be safe.
