New Forum Look

Listen guy's, this guy is just playing with you and it is nothing more than a game for him. Don't fall into his trap, everyone know's that this is one of the best forums anywhere. Don't waist your time with incompetence and stupidity. Who cares if another forum has a different bell and whistle. This one works just great for me. Keep up the good work Mark

Well, I wanted to quote a few posts but don't see how other that copying and pasting stuff back and forth?!?!? I am used to having a button right there, that allows you to quote someone...cannot find it! I looked under Top FAQ's an its not saying anything about quoting someone! I looked under "Site Usage Rules - Members" - Nothing?!
I looked under "General Forum Usage" - Nothing!?

There you have it! The feature to simple press a button and quote someone is not there or at least it is not easy to find!

Why is this site only half as wide as other forums? Is it because 90% of people here still use an 15inch monitor???
OK, so quotes are four clicks . . drag to select, right click to copy, hit quote in new message, right click to paste . . . BFD . . . the goal was to have people actually look at what they quote instead of regurgitating a lot of unnecessary stuff over and over again, as happens most other places.

Width wise, I run 1920x1280 and it is at least 50% of the screen, and fills a fairly normal 80 char width. I HATE the folks that type stuff that is 60 miles wide . . . shows a clear cluelessness of the typist . . .

misfits0311,

Thanks, I was looking out for our Topic Starter. Dood took the time to help those looking for RR answers in the incognito way, "RR for Dummies".

Ive checked out a few other sites, only use one other one for the classifides but cant stand the way the topics and posts read. The posts here on RR IMO are much easier to read. On other sites I dont know if the type is smaller or the posts are spaced apart farther, but I just dont like it.

This site is the best for RC Heli support, heli classifides, some news and a few good laughs as far as I am concerned.

Thank you RR for making my,(our) hobby easier to understand, receive help, make friends and all around much more enjoyable.

Site works just fine but...

Things that would be nice:

Quotes that show who the hell you are quoting without having to build them yourself.

Links opening up in a new tab/window instead of taking you off the site to view an external link. When you have a new post up for editing, this is what happens. Otherwise you have to CNTL+Click to make it happen.

Avatars!

Things that already work great and bring me here:

The content! (most important thing!)

The Search feature really works well for me, not sure why other folks have problems with it.

Please, no Avatars! They add no value, waste bandwidth, and UI studies have shown that (in the case of animated avatars) people find animation on a page distracting when trying to read it.
