I'm getting intermittent glitches and I think it's coming from a very loose cf radio tray from costum heli parts. I noticed the zip tie were loose and so I replaced them and now it's snug. Have not had a chance to try it out yet, But Just curious if anyone had issues like this?

While carbon can block radio signals I doubt that loose carbon is your problem. If I'm not mistaken (i have pre-retail versions of those radio trays) the instructions say to glue the parts as well as using the zip ties. Try some medium to thick CA on all of the joints.

Then start looking for a more likely cause for the "glitching"

tray

Thanks, I didn't read the instructions. I will try that.
I have had it on since my build (8 months) and it didn't start to glitch till my last crash. I swamped out the receiver and it was still glitching.

What other things may cause it to glitch?

Like I said I haven't tried it out since I replaced the ties so I dunno if it's fine now.

Power source ? Regulator ?

Check your connectors. I have seem bad connectors that cause glitches, as little brownouts.

I had full CF frame on my Vibe not a single problem until my 2-in-1 power connector got loose.

It only glitches in the air too, I'm in Idle up most of the time,
2150 HS. I can't get it to glitch on the bench (motor off).
Driving me nuts.......

I have actually unplugged all the connections and cleaned them, Not that they were dirty. Very clean machine. Went through all the bolts checked the frame for cracks with opti visor.

Well I fixed it, Weired fix though.

I was checking with servo moving test and it seemed glitch free.
Turned off the test and moved the sticks around and glitch is back and really bad around centers. I keep going back and forth and it's doing the same thing. Also unplugged one servo at a time and when I got to the aileron it stopped glitching, Now I'm thinking awww man it's a bad servo! I plug the servo back in and out of frustration I move the cyclic over and blow into the stick base (like kicking something when it doesn't work). and go to move the cyclic expecting it to glitch and now it's gone!!! Took it out Tuesday and it's totally gone. Needless to say I don't have to send my TX in or buy a new 8717 or find weired CF vibrations.

Only thing I can think of is at my field. It's full of trees and there been a few times where I left my case open and found dry leaves maybe little bit of dust on my TX but never thought anything of it. I will keeping it closed from now on. LOL.

Just a heads up to all 12Z owners, I still think this is a great TX!

So you can change "carbon fiber glitches" to "some unknown organic material glitches"
