I recently purchased a set of the new design RJX 600mm FRP blades from HeliDirect to put on my new Frenzy 50. The blades are perfect right out of the foam sleeves they come in. I weighed them both exactly 131.0 grs. They both balanced exactly the same in fact one blade has a spot at dead center. WELL the other night(Thursday) I was at the field breaking in my new O.S. 50 I am on my third tank and haven't even hovered yet. I was running at half throttle and "0" pitch when all of a sudden I hear a loud whop and the heli was on it's side with it's tail snapped off and the flybar now ess shaped. ONE of these blades separated at the seams. The one with the dot! I brought them back to HeliDirect the following day. Of course I know it's not there fault. The're only the distributor, They offered to replace them with another set of blades of my choice (plus or minus any difference). It still cost a few dollars to fix a brand new heli that's never left the ground. Has this happened to anyone else with these blades? ( or any others for that matter?)

That's right! It is a good thing. Like I said I was running at 50% throttle just breaking-in the engine on the ground and nobody but myself in that area. Anyway thats why I posted this, to find out if this has happened with not just RJX blades but any others. It's a bit scary to think that this can happen with no real strain on the blade at relitivly low head speed and "0" deg. pitch. I did send RJX an E-mail and pictures but no reply as of yet.
