Hi guy's
I'd like to ask if anyone has converted their vibe 50 swashplate to 135 degree ccpm using the G-Force swash converter (or so called upgrade part)

If so a couple of questions.

1. Did you set your radio (tx) to the 140 degree swash mix setting ??

2. Have you noticed less ccpm interaction, and improved stability ??

Thanks

Garry

Why would you? It's already got an interaction free 140 degree ccpm setup.

Frankly I doubt its any different, I think they are all around 137 degrees in reality.

Good point. I only ask as someone at my club is thinking of doing this conversion and has asked me for my opinion. However, my own V50 is set up using 120 degree ccpm and therefore I know very little about this 135 degree upgrade from G-Force.

the upgrade wouldn't really do much, but someone post a picture of it.

Depending how it's implemented you might get more pitch throws, hence more pitch range.

You need a reasonably good transmitter for 140 or 135 CCPM anyway (a 10C is pretty bad at CCPM), something along the lines of an 8FG at least.

IMHO I think your buddy is throwing money after nothing. The JR 140 cccpm setup works flawlessly by itself.

is that all, do you just bolt on the stock swash?

If they done it this way, then they definitely done it "wrong", because now the cranks set at 140 will have the balls links leaning out when you put this on, and you'll have to compensate for that. I thought they would include 2 new back bell cranks to allow for this compensation.

Pretty useless upgrade (downgrade?) if you ask me.
