Encounterd a strange situation with my gyro today. While sitting in the pits the servo started to creep. It went to full throw in one direction. It worked perfectly on the previos flight. I turned the gyro off and back on and it worked fine. This was all in HH mode. Rate mode was not affected. Has anyone experienced this with the Logitech 6100?

Thanks,
Lance

PS - Hovering a tank of fuel in rate mode reminded me of how spoiled we are to have HH! LOL

Creeping on the ground without moving the helicopter is usually caused by some rudder trim that was added after the gyro was powered up, or something happened while the gyro was booting up (heli was bumped/moved or the rudder stick was bumped/moved). For some reason your gyro and your tx thought center stick was two different things. All the HH gyro's I've used (including the 6100) do this.

Thanks Chris. The cyclic servos 'jump' when I power up the heli. I wonder if they move the heli enough to cause this problem.

I don't think jumping servos would be enough. Is it continuing to creep or was it a one time thing? There's also a setting in that gyro for tx type/brand. I've noticed when programming hitec servos for airplanks that different brands have a different idea of what center is. I don't know exactly what the "tx brand" setting does in the 6100 but maybe is has something to do with centering??? I flew this gyro on the Stratus today didn't notice any creeping untill I picked it up (normal for any HH gyro).
