Here's a home made fuel stop valve using a servo. The servo arm kinks the fuel line to stop flow. If fitted to a helicopter, it can be operated using a spare channel to kill the engine.

sorry to be a basher here, but if you call that screaming then you need to be around other people flying. that in the video is a little bit above my normal mode hover. dont even start on my idle up 1 and 2!

well maybe the heli was not scremng to you but i felt like we were both screaming i just could not open my mouth for shock of whats
happened.

I wonder if a device exists which will pinch the fuel line and stop fuel to the carb, operated from a spare channel on the radio.

Several automation OEM's make miniature solenoid valves that would work. Most are probably designed to operate on 24 V but you could most likely find one that would operate correctly below 10 V.
