Is the 2.1 an upgrade for the V2 ?

I gotta say,I got my V2 dialed in.Any better and I will be amazed.
I'd like to see tighter piros without having to chase the cyclic all the way around though.

Are the people that have the wag issue changing the gain at all or trying new mounting spots???

My wag turned out to be mechanical.Binding in the tail.

My buddys 3G had a small wag that he learned to live with and it went away on its own over a period of time.Sorta like it just needed time to settle in.Someone said the sensors would eventually settle but I don't quite understand that.

I am not sure about the settling in. I also have the tail wag and drift problem. And a big kick on a climb. My gains are 71 if I remember correctly. I changed the sensor pads and went with align metal align and that got rid of the kick in the cyclic. My Heli would bank on it's own at random. But the tail kick and drift are still there. Today if weather permits I am going to try it with delay and see what I get. Now I have never turned on the delay on any gyro do you see any difference while the Heli is on the bench and you move it from side to side? Or is it so minur that only can be noticed in the air?

On a Trex 500 or smaller, the tail delay needs to be set to RED for small helis. This is a fact.Align is very wrong saying the 500 is a large heli.

Mine is set to RED with an additional 35-40% delay added with my gain at 40% ATV.That's 70% for you guys using the 50-100=HH menu.I use GEAR actual so I have 0-100 for HH adjustment and negative 1 to negative 100 for rate. This gives 50 more points of adjustment in each mode.

With the delay I got no wag it's still on the green side but the fact that I have to add delay to a 600 deffenitly me that Means your right about the 500 should be on the small birds delay. I still have the drift but funny thing is now it's drifting to the left. I give up going to just fly and enjoy it.

Are you using an external gyro for the tail?

The bobble is most likely too much gain on the elevator. It's reacting to its own reaction.Slow it down some.

Just got my V2 updated to V2.1. There is a big difference. The piros are 100% better. I even turned my gain up to 11 o clock with no bobble. The tail has no wag and holds like my 520.

I am really starting to love this 3G.
