To help you make up your mind on mind on whether you would like to continue this debate, just be aware that you are getting all worked up on an opinion.
This is what I posted previously and he responded. I know he read it and made a choice to respond, as you did too. So who is more childish, the person who started it, or the child who responded to it? If you are a so called man, then you should be big enough to let it go. Thank you and have a nice day. BTW, can we be friends? You can pm me if you want to chat sometime.

Think what you want, I am being creative and just letting him know that his comments don't bother me. I am not being rude or saying nasty things, just trying to lighten up the mood. You all are taking this matter way too seriously. I do have friends who help me when needed. My friends who have been in the hobby have told me that until they know it it is very common to somewhat rude until you become part of the click. They have been in the hobby for 30-40 years, so I trust their knowledge and don't let it bother me.

As a general rule of thumb guys who have been in the hobby that long don't have clue about modern helicopters and equipment nor no they embrace helicopters and helicopter pilots in general. I'm not saying all just a majority. Now I think your just blowing smoke and it just confirms my theory that you started this thread as a means to troll your into arguments.

As I have said time and time again, I walked into this thread with open eyes. I was looking to see what other views are. There are certain people used my thread to bash me. As you are doing now. What does your post have to do with the subject? Nothing, does it? If you can't post a friendly opinion, then don't post. It is that simple. BTW, your comment about older gents not knowing newer technology makes me laugh to no extent. They are the ones who have seen it improve and are the ones who helped design the technology. Are Jason Krause and Alan Szabo electronic engineers? Did they make the blueprints? You must still be living with mommy to make a comment like that if you don't think us old farts don't know technology. Who do you think started it? So you saying that Bill Gates doesn't know the new technology because he is old? I guess I can't understand COD4 because I played Pong as a child. Think again and have a nice day. BTW, if you want to be friends, feel free to pm me, we can chat and share stories.

I'm 58 raised 2 kids put them though school and have 3 gran-kids. Living with my Mom I don't think so. Your just a smart a$$ who thinks he knows it all. Your a troll plane and simple. I'm glad your laughing at my comment about the "older crowd" it wasn't meant to be funny or insulting. Just a well known fact in the community but since you apparently don't get out much you wouldn't know anything about that would you? You actually have to have social skills to interact with other people. Poke around some of the forums you'll see what mean.

Given your poor response, you sounded like a 16 and on pimple cream. BTW, did you learn name calling from your daddy? You make me feel special that you you put so much thought into calling me a troll. I can think of better comments. If that is your limit due to limited condition, then feel free to sit at your computer and drink your fiber so that you may respond to me. BTW, just because you can't keep up with technology, doesn't mean that other older gentlemen can't.

Well just read through this thread and saw different opinions and valid points. Enjoyed it up till the last page

My opinion. A person who has flown both a small and large heli has the experience to comment on how each heli flies and thus is more informed as to recommend one or the other.
.I went from basic forward flight with my Trex 450 to sport flying (inverted hovering, tictocs, loops, rolls) with my Raptor 30 in less than 1 month
This guy knows what he's talking about because he's been there. I agree with him because my experience was exactly the same

My cheap 450 served it's purpose early on due to cheap parts replacements. I don't think I would have crashed nearly as much had I started with my 600ESP so cost overall may have equaled out and I would have had a more enjoyable experience due to the heli doing what I tell it to more consistently. Just my personal experience though. I acknowledge that everyone is in a different circumstance and preference though.

High Voltage just works better

a new guy starting out with a heli will crash less and be more likely to treat his heli with the respect that it deserves if its a little bigger, and there for also safer.

not to mention how many new people have checked there blade tracking on the kitchen table? or tryed to hover there 450 in the living room? no one would think of trying that with a 50!
The thing to keep in mind is that the world is a big place, and there are a lot of people, and while your average sane person wouldn't fly a large heli, say a 90-size bird, in the living room, there are bound to be a few that stupid, and even a few stupider still that would have their friends and family sit on the couch in the living room while they did it.

Wow I just read this thread and I find it quite interesting that he asks for opinions but when the opinions do not comply to his beliefs he takes offense. I have had a previous issue with him on another thread and after much rationalising finally I was able get him to understand what I was saying and he changed his mind. Soleman you really need to lighten up and maybe only talk half as much as you listen. You seem to have little experience and even less heli knowledge. You are entitled to your opinion even though it is not really valid. You will come to realise this with more knowledge and experience in this hobby. Most people who start off on a 450 spend more money replacing crash parts then what they would have spent on a 50 size and would not have crashed the 50 as much do to stability, size, speed and respect for their investment. If you take the chip off of your shoulder maybe you could find some help or a mentor but until them you will just have to learn from your own mistakes instead of learning from the mistakes of others. PS the latter is sooooooo much cheaper.

Jgatorman, to help you and others out, please observe my previous comment which I will inform you again. Others are coming in and trying to be constructive. Let's end this bashing and press on with life. I will post my previous request in hopes of pressing on. Please grow up and let it go.

To help you make up your mind on mind on whether you would like to continue this debate, just be aware that you are getting all worked up on an opinion. You got yours and I got mine. If you don't like what I tell someone then you can explain your point and then they can make up their mind. I am not asking you to agree, just accept that there are different views and opinions.
