Oicu,

So how does it compare to your logos? Like better, worse, same or just different? I know you are a big logo lover too

NLF it flies well but it's just not near as much of a pop n' lock 3D heli IMO. Unique yes, flies well and very different IMO but I'll be looking forward to 700 Logo still for low n tight and reactive. THX if you put name on list now as per Jans comments it will be summer to fall 2011.

I found my TDR a little too slow off the stock file. Changing stick repsonse to aggresive and 14 deg gave it a LOT more pop and lock style but still smooth for speed flights (add expo to liking).

Yes I got all the same now as well helicraze, but I've decided while I love the way it flies its not for sure a low tight hard 3D heli is all. Still fantastic, I'll keep it and enjoy it but I can see it being a heli for the last flights of an evening, or funflies and not my primary for sure. It's always an each to their own thing, I prefer fast reactive type flying myself, while this heli is very accurate, fast as we know it is only IMO just not a hard 3D heli at least not for my style is all. For those who love straight lines, axial as you can be rolls, BIG sky stuff the TDR for sure currently in 90 size is no doubt the king.

So you're basically telling us that with the most agressive Vbar settings your TDR is still too soft?

To which other heli are you comparing it to? A 90size E-Heli? Which one?

It doesn't make any sense to me, should you have the same engine, the same fbl system ans the same servos and of course the same batteries and same blades... the TDR should be better due to its power/weight ratio...

Comparing it to a 12s Logo 600 is another thing...

Yes I'm comparing it to a logo 600 yes I know not realistic lol. It is just my opinion again it's a nice machine but I know allready from enough vbar and flying background it's not going to be hard 3d by design and feel that's just my opinion is all it still is a nice machine.

Thing is a bigger heli cant be as reactive as a small one does not matter how you look at it, what i can say is that you can make it as good or better for 3d work as any other 90 size, i'd go for the shorter 690 size blades however, which is what i'm using.
I dont see the future logo 700 being better for lowdown 3d, vbar equals playing field, add power to weight issues etc all very similar, change blades for starters those 710's recommended is more for top speed.
I have 3 L600's as well and although my routine exists of piro flying mostly nowadays i prefer the tdr as a complete heli by quite a margin

Common sense may not be common after all

Yes I have some 690 variety coming and going to jack it all up and see, still a nice machine I just have to fly it differently is all not much negative to say really.
