How about building a special mount on the boom that will include the bat and a strong led and will be mounted say 1cm from the blades tips.

The blades will be covered with flourocent color and will shine like hell..

No forces or special wires.

The same goes for the main blades. Mount a led on the boom facing the blade's tip, and color the blade in flurocent color.

In order to have the other side of the main blade shine, you need to replace the standard button with one having two leds (directed to the blades) and a small button bat.

How to make night tail blades:

Place a disk of vinyl behind the tail rotor hub positioned in such a way that two brushes (one for each blade) contact the disk while the rotor is turning. THen connect the brushes to the leds and the other end to another brush similar to the ones used on full scale aircraft to disipate static electricity. In essence a van de graff generator. There woudl probably need to be a resistor inline because I am guessing this setup would make somewhere around 20,000 volts, and the average led will explode at around 50.

This woudl probably cause a lot of RFI, but that is why we have PCM huh?

P.S. I have no patent or copyright on this idea, so if you kill your heli or yourself or someone's wife, don't come looking for me. I am not home.
