I might as well beat a dead horse. Together we can all do something to help our community. It's a testament to the character of the great folks we have. This weekend is our Wings for Kids model airshow in Louisville. Last yr we donated $12,500 to Childrens Hospital, and nearly $100,000 over the past 12 yrs total. Individually it's hard, but together we can make a difference. I congratulate Tim and Robert, and all who participate.

All right!

Less then two weeks and looking like we will have a great turnout as well as weather.

If you have a pop up tent; bring it!

We have shade but we can get closer to the grass flight line.

I was just wondering since if I ever go It would be just on a Sunday since I'll be at Big D's funfly Friday and Saturday. If I leave saturday evening I can make it there Sunday morning but you guys already had your saturday flights. Would it be possible for me to do all my rounds on Sunday? If not that's that fine. I'll be flying class one. I'm really new to this thing so I really enjoying the learning part of it. Thanks, Pinoy/Andy P.

Doing that wouldn't bother me, but figuring out how to score it in the computer might be another matter.

We would be happy to have you for Sunday and there will be a great opportunity to get some time in front of judges as well as face time in front of some highly experienced competition pilots (that will also be judging!).

You will find that all of the judges will offer advice (if you ask) on how to improve your scoring so there is a great deal to learn hear; even for a single day.

How many are you guys expecting to fly in Class 1? I am trying to make plans to come down but not 100% sure I can swing it yet.

For the record, Tom Erb will be in CIII and George Matthews in CII.

This is shaping up to be a great event!

Do we know the status of Wayne, Dwight, Rolando, and Daniel? How about Don?

Joe, are you set to come?

Daniel,You beat me to the attending reply.

The flyer said open Friday for practice but my question is will there be others to fly with on that day.
Hoped to have a new airframe flying but will depend on the old Sceadu.

Looking forward to the weekend.

Don,

Do you mean fixed wing "others"? Last year the club members were incredibly cordial and gave us the field for the remainder of Friday after the Keystone Cop kicked us out of the park.

Otherwise, we'll all pull into town a bit after lunchtime.

Yes <g>.

Two available lines. The existing runway faces due east, but the grass is present to face north as I recall. Last year we flew from the grass on Sunday AM because the sun is too wicked in the early AM when flying off the runway. Tim can correct me if I'm wrong here; that's my best recollection.
