Pphil611,
I'm trying to figure out internals in your tanks disposition...
I like your idea but...

... Two tubings between the two tanks?...why? just in case of..?
One tubing to atmosfere...ok
Two tubings going and coming from motor..ok...

How many clunks line do you have in there? three? two in the big tank and one in the small one?...

Saludos cordiales,

Only one klunk (felt type) in the small tank, on the suction line going to the engine carb. The other line on the side of the small tank is the return from the carb (primer bulb). The top line in the small tank is attached to a line running to the large tank, which has a heavy non-filter klunk (the type that comes with the tank). The large tank has the vent line coming out of the top.

As the fuel is used in the small tank it sucks fuel from the large tank and stays full. When filling fill through the carb primer bulb line into the small tank and it over-flows into the large tank filling it.

Not necessary unless you like long flights.
