? any particular reason? I ass-u-me it would be clean power going through seperate regulators. I know the gas heli guy's do it I am just lazy. I loved my first seagull plane other than this battery issue I couldnt pack enough nimhs in it to fly all day long. I love the 3S on my taylorcraft easily fly all day on a single charge.

Oh and my main concern of flying all day long is I am probably gonna lose my 15mile trip one way to the field for a 40 mile trip one way. Instead of flying a few hours three days a week I will be cut to one or two full days.

They certainly do, however I cant justify the excessive cost.

the ignition generates some electronic noise that you dont want getting near the Rx.

I'm still chugging away on my Cub Bee Sport build. Right now it weighs in at a pound. I think an OS 35ax will suit this plane well. A 10X6 at 16,000 rpm's will make this thing scream

well you might want to cut some lightening holes in the fuse ad remove the sheeting from the LE to get it down to 1/2lb. and put a hyper 50 on it with a 16x8.

I do miss my Citabria sometimes but it was a pain to transport and setup. If I did something like that again it would probably be smaller scale

thought i would share this...i am setting up a new airplane with my dx 7 and a 6 channel receiver. with an ar 7000 its easy, as second elevator and flap/aileron go to aux 2 and aux 1 respectively. but with 6 channels the second elevator goes to gear and the gear switch is still enabled. there are two ways to disable the switch, the easiest is to set the travel adj of the gear channel to 0 at both ranges. the slave servo will still follow the master. the other way is to mix the channel to itself.

hope this helps someone someday.......

S76 Mech I dont have enough info I dont fully understand the question.

If you have a 1 piece elevator or split?

But the farther in on the rod the more throw you get.

If this is your question its up to you.

Gotta run out for abit, I will post a pic when I get back.

Are you saying that the distance the black plastic horn is from the silver jam hex nut is, determines the amount of throw? When I was setting it up, I had the horn all the way out, and all the way in, it looked like it didn't make much of a difference in throw, thats where I got stuck mentally.

Yesterday I was flying my PA addiction for about 10 minutes and something did not feel right, almost felt like I was in low rates, other than that it was flying quite normal, it was only when I brought it into a low close hover I realised only one aileron was working, the roll rate was a bit slower and seemed to take a bit more stick to level the wings in hover but otherwise I would not have even known, I could smell the servo it must have burnt out.

I would not have thought flying with only one aileron would be so un noticeable.

rick, there is no set distance, but when the plastic piece is too close to the control surface, let's say less than 1" you lose mechanical advantage and increase the potential for flutter. don't forget that the hole in the plastic piece should be directly over the hinge line.

have fun...
