Hi,
My Dad has a DX-7 transmitter with a AR7000. He ran out of fuel and crashed. All it did was bend his spindle. Now he cant make any servo's move. He's tried rebinding and still nothing. When he turns on his transmitter. The receiver and satellite receiver lights turn on. When he turns the transmitter off. The lights turn off. All the fail safes are working.
Now the strange part. I crashed my 90 a few weeks later. Now my transmitter is doing the same thing. Mine was wrapped in 2 inches of foam. My radio system is a X9303 with a R921 receiver. Anyone have this problem? Is there a way to reset the receiver?

Any help is appreciated.
Robert

Try binding with a different radio. This happen to me couple weeks ago. I did not even crashed. I did not bring my other Heli so it was early day for me. Got home and see if was the receiver or radio rebinded with the other radio and it works to this day.

Thanks. I'll try binding with his receiver and see if it will work. It's werid. Because the receiver sees the radio.

ColonaL is correct, if the RX cannot see the signal from the satelite then it won't initialise properly, the light will go on steady as if it's linked but nothing moves.

I suspect the following:

1) Signal wire may be broken/damaged between the Main RX and the SAT RX. Check for visable damage, test with Digital Volt Meter for continuity on all three pins or swap with known good cable.
2) Failure of the Sat RX or Main RX. Swap SAT RX with known good RX (Don't forget to re-bind each time you swap)

I finially had a chance to bind the receiver to a different transmitter. Same issue. I checked the wires going to the sat receiver. There ok. I'll put a different satellite receiver on and rebind.
My father got lucky when he rebinded his again. He held the bind button awhile after the lights came up solid. His is working fine now.

Thanks for all the help. I let you know if works.
