Most excellent IRCHA Treasurer, Sir:
lol

The hovering area in Urbana actually mimics the hovering area that we have at the IRCHA Jamboree, back, back, behind the flightline. Same layout, just a bit smaller. That kinda makes it a very old idea. Works well though

Another addition to the event....
We always have a Prime Rib dinner at the field around 6pm, we have an invitation for a special closed tour at the Champaign Aviation Museum ! ( about 1 mile from the field ) The Prime Rib Dinner will be served in the main hanger, after dinner we are free to mill around ( bring your cameras there are some special photo ops ) We will also have access to the B-17 restoration project and the Grimes flying lab. Very cool!

See a A-26 Invader, the Mitchell B-25, C-47, French Domesell, Wright B Flyer, T 6, and the only Pitcarn auto gyro in the world. This won Grand National Champion at Sun & Fun and Oshkosh.

A while back I was thinking about this event. Would've loved to come to this, but my little sister is graduating HS and having a party.

Awesome Event
Yup Gary I agree! Awesome event. Dave is one of the best host all around! Awesome Prime Rib (coming from a mainly chicken eater LOL) Gus the jumbo was fantastic as usual! The weather was hit and miss. After a quick change of clothes flying went back to normal. The museum tour was bad a$$ for someone like me who loves history...

Again awesome event! Thanks Dave and Urbana crew

I had a great time. The the rain wet and the flying was fun. I lost a my tent to the high wind and rain but it was less than a crash.
