Ive noticed a lot of pics of some guys hanging the heli's on the wall. I know this is a stupid question but could somebody show me how this is done? are there holes in the wood ledge where the ends of the skids go in?

I use a set of old blades and screwed them to the wall with stand offs I got at Lowes for $2. The stand offs are just nylon tubes ~ 1"-2" long...........Ron

gotcha thanks for the pic I guess theres not enough weight from the heli to do any real harm to the frame or the skids.

No not at all. The tail fin of the heli rests against the wall also for a little weight support.......Ron

I use a length of 1/2" copper pipe secured to the wall at the studs with standoffs.

I always considered hanging my helis with a broken blade but hopefully I will not have a broken blade that I need to find a use for Right now, I put up shelf units that they sit on and it works well

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I guess this is better than putting your helis on a shelf? I'd be afraid they would fall.

My helis sit on shelf's too but, dare i say it, my planks all hang from the wall as they can be packed tighter together. I have a piece of 40mmx40mm square timber the full length of the wall and its spaced out by angle brackets which are rawl bolted to the wall. I drop the nose wheel over the timber or the main wheels on the tail draggers. None have fell of the wall....... yet!

If it doesnt move and its meant too... use WD 40. If it moves and its not meant too...use duct tape!
