Wayne and MHA gang,

Thanks for all the hospitality guy. You guys put on a well matured funfly. I guess you had few years of experience.

I only have one request. Can you add a bottle of alcohol/windex and a roll on paper towel for the winner of CornSmack?

I have to say that your big white cooler had much to do with Justin's green blades.

Thanks to everyone came to the MHA FF again this year! For the first time in years we had NO RAIN all weekend. (and where was 1-UP...)

Thank you to all the MHA members for working so hard to make this a success. I also want to thank Jeff Green of Heli Wholesaler and Greg Alderman of Outrage RC for being the major sponsor of the MHA FF once again. Without you this event would not happen!

Bobby Watts, Bert, Tone and Beast, you know how to run the 450 Challenge and make it fun for everyone! That is so much fun it should not be legal!

...And the smack down in the corn! The price of corn futures went up 50 cents per bushel today thanks to Justin, Dr. Thumbs, Bobby Watts, Team Hirobo (Mark/Greg/Bob)and Nate and everyone else. For all you that missed it, they set the bar for hard core 3-D flying in the corn! Check out the pics and videos when they are online.

Mark and Jocelyn Ryder, 90 degrees and you carried more weight in cameras than a soldier carries in tactical gear in Afhganistan! Great to see both of you, thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this hobby!

For all of you that missed the BBQ, come hungry next year! almost 75 pounds of pulled pork gone in 30 minutes. Wow.

Lastly, thanks to my wife Paula who elected to spend our anniversary (again this year) helping run the Fun Fly!

Just want to post my thanks to Wayne and co. for throwing a great party. I really enjoyed myself this year. As always, it was great to see everyone (best part of these events IMHO), and the amazing flying that has blossomed over the last few years (by everyone, not just the pro's). The bar has been raised!!

Very sad state of affairs when a kid is encouraged to destroy private property(corn) by a parent or other adult figures. I was NOT impressed with the intentional destruction nor the flying skills of the pilots who partook in the activity. Did anybody ask the owner of the corn if it was okay to do a smack down in the corn?
What? This must be a joke. If not you need to remove that stick

Pruned is the word you are looking for.

You would think we were flying around a BlowOut Preventer from that description.

Bert really got better, and he kicked ass when I first saw him at the 2007 MHA.

See you all at HoD!!!

It was planted just for this event! It's a very special variety called "Smackdown Corn"

Good to see everyone!

Just want to take a moment to thank Wayne and the guys for putting on this event for us again. Rolled in last night close to midnight after a stop for dinner in CT with a friend there. 925 miles round trip, like 1 way to IRCHA!

I enjoyed seeing everyone again, meeting new faces, and thanks to Mark and Joselyn for taking the time to come to this event and take pictures and videos, plus hand out shirts and hats. It was awesome to be amoungst all who love this hobby!

Logo specs

Anyone know who the last guy to fly in the Smackdown was (he flew a Logo but was reluctant to get down in the corn)? I was very impressed with how the heli flew and am curious how he has it outfitted and how he has it set up.

Great weekend and I'll definitely be back next year (and will be flying by then).

Thanks!
