I don't know if anyone needs a receiver but futaba recently dropped their prices quite a bit. Looks like they finally got the message that you can't charge twice as much as a compatible competing product. Even if you didn't buy an orange receiver looks like we all benifited from them being on the market.

You go ahead and keep lobbying for that Steve. Be sure to let us know how that turns out. LOL. And yes it will be a long drive. I might just fly up there for it. I would like to do the 3d school again. But we will see how things are going to turn out.

I'm getting rf7, if you dont have it you wont get the updates for the next 2 years. Chris depending upon when you got 6.5 you may get 7 cheaper or free, for recent purchases. I'm probably getting it tomorrow.

You all just like to throw money away don't you. Phoenix once and done. Let the flaming begin.

I didn't get on the sim much last winter, makes the choice a little harder to buy the update.

As far as I can tell the only change to the sim is the transmitter box. It looks like they now give you the option to buy a package with a transmitter box or one with only a dongle you plug your own tx into (like phoenix). With no physics tweaks advertised it is hard to justify an upgrade.

Phoenix! Phoenix! Phoenix! No upgrade charges no additional aircraft charges. Only drawback is it came with a rectum tx
