Steve, I used my servo crimps to start the crimp and finished with a pair of needle nose.

I have run 9252 on FBL as long as you keep the voltage down like Paul said it will work, they wont take anything above 6 volts they are actually 4.8 volt servos so going to 6 is already pushing it, I have had the same set for about 5 years and have never had a problem, but then again I havent crashed that one either.
I can tell you that they will strip the gears

just a note

While I know most of you are a distance away, we were just planning on having an informal club fly at Woodruff Lake Airport tomorrow, Monday. This is just getting together and doing some flying. It is open to planes and helis. Just come on out (must have AMA) and have fun. Start is around 10

Ok, so the 9252's aren't really for me, I do tend to crash sometimes! I have stripped the gears in them quite a few times in my 600 so I will change them. to the 610's I already have waiting.
Question on the DX8, I am running in Gov mode in my esc, does that mean I should run it on my radio as well. I just tried to fly it again and it cut out on me, like it did to Steve at the field. WTF? Its not a radio glitch, the sat would be flashing. Maybe its exceeding the rpms set in the gov???? I don't have a clue, I've forgotten all I knew about electrics, its been a couple of years!

No you do not run govenor mode in the radio its all on curves, you need to check your current cutoff in the speedo its set to low and shuts down the esc due to low voltage, your right its not a glitch if it was you wouldnt have cyclics its just shutting the motor down. I finally got my 450 screaming again I can tell you I will give your 6s a run for its money ! I went to a 14 tooth pinion now and the motor and batteries are way cooler than before! I just got done putting 6 flights on it and am charging for morning, The wind has been a little much for the 130 today maybe tomorrow morning will be better,

Steve do you mean low voltage cut off or what do you mean by current cut off. I didn't have that at first.

Yeah, I read something about that, Now that I have the wires all gooped to the beastx, I remembered that I used a short servo extension so I wouldn't have to keep unplugging the esc wire from the receiver\beastx in this case! Thanks Steve, that may well be the issue here, I'll check in the morning.

Who's going to wmraf tomorrow?

By the way Steve, I sure do appreciate you being around to answer all the questions and help with setup issues I have had in the past and still have from time to time. I think a bunch of us would be lost without you! You da man Steve and I mean that from my heart!!!

What can I say, its the truth! Sounds kinda mushy but hey, sometimes I would be lost if I didn't have someone to bounce things off and get answers to questions!
